ISLAMABAD: Condemning a barbaric terrorist attack in New Zealand mosques claiming lives of 49 people, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said four Pakistanis were also injured in the deadly assault, ARY News reported Friday.
Qureshi, speaking to ARY News, said at least five Pakistanis also went missing in the wake of the terrorist attack.
Expressing shock over the attack, he said New Zealand had never witnessed such a worst terror attack in its history.
The foreign minister said Pakistan was monitoring the situation. He also prayed for earliest recovery of the injured persons.

Meanwhile, Pakistan’s deputy high commissioner in Wellington said at least five Pakistanis were missing after the attacks on mosques in New Zealand.
The deputy high commissioner said that they were making all-out efforts to find the missing Pakistanis and added that the Christchurch police and hospitals’ management were unable to give any details.
He said that the officials of the high commission were visiting different hospitals and police stations to find out the missing Pakistanis. The deputy high commissioner said that the government had shut all the mosques in New Zealand after the Christchurch attacks.
