Parents of Kasur victims boycott JIT over ‘police harassment’

Talking to media today, affected masses accused police of harassing them and said that none of them will appear before the JIT as long as their reservations are not addressed.

The counsel of affected masses, Latif Siraa lamented the government has not accepted their demands and more cases are being lodged against protesting masses instead of ending the earlier ones, so that the claimants and affectees could be prevented from pursuing the matter.

While terming the current JIT incomplete, he stressed on the need to induct a cyber crime expert in it.

The affectees vowed to continue boycott of the JIT until their demands are not met.
