Bollywood film ‘Pathaan‘ has been breaking box office records since the day it was released and now the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer has broken the record of ‘Baahubali 2‘ in North America and Canada.

‘Pathaan‘ earned more than INR200 crore within four days of its release in India. It earned over INR300 crore worldwide in three days.
In the United States and Canada, the Hindi version of the film outshined all the languages of the South Indian film ‘Baahubali 2‘ to become the fastest film to enter and earn over INR200 crore.
Telugu 360 reported that more than 250,000 lakh people were watching ‘Pathaan‘ on Saturday. It is less than that of all languages of ‘Baahubali 2‘ in the two countries.
‘Pathaan‘ overcame blockbusters like Sultan, War, Tiger Zinda Hai, Dangal and others behind with its box collection in the first four days of release.
‘Numbers do matter’
It is pertinent to mention that director Siddharth Anand said he takes box office numbers seriously as it reflects the team’s hard work.
Siddharth Anand, in an interview, said he was overwhelmed by the box office response his film got. The director said they make a film which is unique than before.

“I’m hungrier than before to create more spectacles and immersive experiences like ‘Pathaan‘,” he said. “For me, yes numbers do matter. It is a validation of all the hard work but film-making is also a team game. So, I share this incredible moment with the entire cast and crew of ‘Pathaan‘.”
The director said the team aims to create a never seen theatrical experience every time.
