ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Monday said the government of Pakistan and the entire nation firmly stand with oppressed people of Occupied Kashmir.
Talking to Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider, Khaqan Abbasi reiterated Pakistan’s resolve to extend moral, political and diplomatic support to the just struggle of Kashmiri people for their right of self-determination.
Matters of political significance and development initiatives in Azad Kashmir were discussed during the meeting.
Talking to Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Hafiz Hafeez-ur-Rehman in Islamabad, Abbasi said the government was determined for socio-economic uplift of Gilgit-Baltistan.
The chief minister congratulated Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on being elected as prime minister of Pakistan and extended invitation for visiting Gilgit Baltistan.
He also apprised the PM on the status of various ongoing development projects related to Gilgit-Baltistan.
