Petition seeks banning Indian movies in Pakistan till resolution of Kashmir issue

The plea filed by advocate Ishtiaq Chaudhry adopted the stance that Indian forces had started a series of barbarism and repression and were carrying out carnage in occupied Kashmir.

“Indian films are against the verdict of Kashmiris and in collision with Pakistan’s Kashmir policy,” he said.

The petition

said Indian movies were doing propaganda against Kashmir’s struggle for freedom. In any case, Indian movies could not be exhibited in the country according to Pakistani laws. Hence, in solidarity with innocent and oppressed citizens of Kashmiris, orders should be issued against projecting the movies in Pakistani cinemas.
