KARACHI: A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) aircraft collided with another plane while taxiing at the Jinnah International Airport, ARY News reported on Saturday.
As per details, a PIA’s ATR plane hit a stationary aircraft at the plane engineering hanger during a run-up. As a result, the wings of the ATR aircraft got damaged.
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has taken notice of the incident which is said to have occurred due to engineers’ negligence.
A probe has been ordered into the incident of the collision to ascertain the cause of it.
Meanwhile, a PIA spokesperson said the airline’s CEO has also taken notice of the incident.
