PITB launches sales tax payment service at e-Khidmat Markaz

LAHORE: The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) has launched a Sales Tax payment service at e-Khidmat Markaz centres to facilitate citizens and businesses in submitting sales taxes more conveniently.

In a statement, PITB said e-Khidmat Markaz continues to expand its range of public services across Punjab by introducing new facilities for citizens and businesses.

Under the newly launched service, business owners and service providers can now fulfill their sales tax obligations through a secure, efficient, and streamlined process at e-Khidmat centres.

Sharing details on social media, PITB stated that the 15 e-Khidmat Markaz centres operating under PITB are now offering sales tax payment services under one roof in a safe, simple, and organised manner for businesses and service providers across Punjab.

According to PITB, the service aims to save time while ensuring easy, secure, and reliable tax payments with guidance available at every stage of the process.

The services are available from Monday to Friday between 9:00am and 5:00pm.

PITB advised citizens to contact the helpline at 1317 for any assistance.

Earlier, PITB announced the launch of a new examination fee payment service through e-Khidmat for candidates appearing in exams conducted by the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC).

The service enables students to pay their PPSC examination fees through a transparent and hassle-free process at e-Khidmat Markaz centres across Punjab.

According to PITB, this is the first time e-Khidmat has included PPSC examination fee payments in its portfolio of citizen services.
