ABBOTTABAD: While admiring the tenure of ousted Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, the incumbent Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Tuesday said that only the politics of Nawaz Sharif is driven by the objectives of serving people and bringing development to the country.
He was addressing a ceremony in Havelian after overviewing the progress of work of Havelian-Thakot motorway project.
“Nawaz Sharif fulfilled all of his promises and the government of PML-N is the first one to complete all of its initiated projects. Development in every sector is the proof of the party’s true efforts,” Abbasi said.
He stressed that the strength of people’s vote fueled the ruling party to deliver for the country. “Keep the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) achievements in mind when you vote in the general elections later this year,” Abbasi urged the audience in the ceremony.
In a customary criticism of PTI’s development plans, he remarked that the people who are talking about 100-day agenda have done nothing for the county except staging sit-ins in the last five years.
The Havelian-Thakot motorway starts from Havelian and passes through Abbottabad, Mansehra, Shinkiari, before terminating at Thakot in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
