ISLAMABAD: Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Zubair Mahmood Hayat called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad today.
According to a statement released from PM House, the PM and the CJCSC discussed professional matters pertaining to armed forces during the meeting.
Last month, Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa and ISI Director General Lt. General Naveed Mukhtar too called on Prime Minister Imran Khan at PM House. Matters pertaining to national security and regional stability were discussed during the meeting.
Earlier, on September 13, the prime minister paid a visit to the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) headquarters where he said the government and people of Pakistan firmly stand behind their armed forces and intelligence agencies.
The premier was received by Gen Bajwa and intelligence chief on his arrival at the premier intelligence agency.
During the visit, he was briefed on various strategic intelligence and national security matters for eight hours.
The prime minister laid a floral wreath at the Yadgare Shuhada and offered fateha.
