ISLAMABAD: In a genial gesture, Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday met with his ailing fan Alyza to fulfill her long-awaited wish.
According to the details, Alyza, a cancer patient, along with her family arrived at Bani Gala to meet her favourite personality Imran Khan.
Alyza took pictures with PM Imran and spent some time with him at his residence. PM Imran inquired about her health and presented her a bat signed by him. He prayed for her early recovery and termed her a brave girl.
It is pertinent to mention here that Alyza lives in Denmark and had been expressing her wish to meet PM Imran Khan on social networking website. Sources said that PM Imran invited her at his residence when he came to know that Aliza had arrived in Pakistan.
PM Imran directs treatment for cancer-stricken table tennis player
Earlier on August 21, PM Imran Khan had instructed to make arrangements for the treatment of a young table tennis player who is suffering from cancer.
Information minister Fawad Chaudhry said that Imran Khan had taken his first notice as the prime minister and directed to provide complete treatment to the cancer-stricken girl.
The notice was taken over media reports in which the girl’s father, who works as a peon a government school, had appealed to the prime minister to assist with her treatment.
