If PM intends, commission can be formed in 24 hours: Imran

Addressing his workers and supporters at the PTI sit-in camp here, Imran Khan said that his party will call off protests outside Islamabad, the very day government formed the judicial commission to probe the rigging of last general elections.

He welcomed government’s invitation for unconditional and meaningful talks with his party.

“If the government intends to hold a dialogue, we are ready for it too, but talks will be resumed for where they were suspended”, cleared the PTI chairman.

During his address, he ensured that the protest in Karachi will be peaceful and if the Karachiites think that this system is right, then they should keep their businesses open.

He said that nobody will be forced there to close down shops or businesses.

Khan said if the government is serious regarding talks, then it should form the judicial commission prior to the PTI rally in Karachi, in return his party will also cancel the protests and sit-ins in different cities.

The PTI chief also expressed his complete trust in the new Chief Election Commissioner, Justice (retd) Sardar Raza.
