According to Foreign Office of Pakistan, the ongoing political turmoil was discussed in the meetings.
Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif and Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif, accompanying the Prime Minister on his visit to Saudi Arabia, also met with Saudi delegation as well.
Pakistan expressed its concern over the unrest in the Gulf country and said that it cannot remain silent against the efforts to destabilize Saudi Arabia.
The country also denounced the overthrowing of Yemen government by Houthis and expressed its willingness to play a positive role in promoting a peaceful role in the crisis.
The two sides agreed to further enhance the bilateral ties.
PM Sharif also invited the Saudi King to visit Pakistan at his earliest convenience.
