Retired airforce official briefly detained after his vehicle came in middle of PM’s convoy

According to details, PM’s convoy was en route to Islamabad from Murree that a white-colored Prado suddenly appeared and tried to hit PM Sharif’s car.

However, one of the vehicles in PM’s security detail intercepted the suspicious car and forced the driver to come out.

The driver turned out to be a retired office of the Pakistan Air Force, whereas officials found nothing wrong during search of the suspected vehicle.

It was further reported that PM Nawaz Sharif, who was travelling along with his wife and daughter Maryam Nawaz, remained unharmed during the episode.
