PML-N all set to hold public rallies in Gujranwala, Rawalpindi today

GUJRANWALA/RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is all set to hold separate public rallies in Gujranwala and Rawalpindi today (Sunday).

Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif, besides other central and district-level leaders, will address the rally at Jinnah Stadium in Gujranwala.

All arrangements have been finalized and the venue has been decorated with party flags and posters. As many as 10,000 chairs have been placed at the venue of the public meeting.

The city administration has inspected all security arrangements for the event by late night, besides deploying police personnel at and around the venue.

All activists and workers of the ruling party kept on rallying across the city on Saturday night in an attempt to mobilize masses to attend today’s public gathering.

On the other hand, Maryam Nawaz, former premier Nawaz Sharif’s daughter, will address the party’s social media workers’ convention today (Sunday) at Fawara Chowk in Rawalpindi.

The PML-N leaders and workers have stepped up their pre-election campaign across the country in an apparent bid to solicit support for the upcoming general elections in 2018.
