NA-246: PML-N formally extends its support to JI

Only a few days are left in much-hyped by-election in NA-246 and the political parties have also been campaigning at the peak to garner public support.

During all this, the ruling Nawaz-league also came out in support of Jamaat e Islami – one of three main parties contesting the by-polls in NA-246, the other two namely Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf and Muttahida Qaumi Movement.

Provincial leadership of both the parties held a meeting at Muslim League House here on Sunday, following which the PML-N provincial president Ismail Rahu announced his party’s complete support to Jamaat e Islami in the run for NA-246 seat.

Rahu not just announced to back JI, but also vowed to practically lead the Jamaat e Islami’s election campaign in the constituency.

JI leader, Hafiz Naeem ur Rahman told that the PML-N has advised all its workers and supporters to vote for Jamaat e Islami in the by-polls on April 23.
