LAHORE: Law Minister Punjab Rana Mashood has said that ARY News is a patriotic media institution and there is no two-opinion on channel’s services, ARY News reported Monday.
The minister said no one could hold two opinions on patriotic services of ARY News in the country. He also took notice of gag on ARY News from covering Dr. Tahirul Qadri’s arrival at Lahore airport and assured of taking action against the elements responsible.
Earlier during the coverage of Dr. Qadri’s arrival to Pakistan Geo News, which is facing strong treason charges from different sections of society, was allowed to cover the airport incident.
Dr. Qadri had refused to disembark from a flight when it was diverted from Islamabad to Lahore over ‘security’ concerns today. The PAT chief had mooted six demands including withdrawal of cases against his workers, restoring his party secretariat in Lahore to old position and accompanying of governor Punjab on his return from the airport, before he called off his protest.
