According to Police, the constable named Saeed Ahmad was heading home after work when armed persons on motorcycle opened fire at him.
He was killed on the spot whereas the attacker managed to escape.
The body was shifted to Civil Hospital for further procedures.
The reason of the crime has not yet been determined. The investigation of the incident is underway.
