Sindh police issue alert saying ‘credible terrorism threat’ in Karachi

According to the formal notification, there exists a ‘credible terrorism threat’ in Karachi for the next three to four days. A list of probable target places have been mentioned in the notice which include Bilawal House, Governor House, Chief Minister House, churches, Friday congregation prayers, Imam Barghas and other such places.

emphasis has been laid on the fact that militants may use water tankers to attack their targets. The notice also calls for a red alert to be sent to field staff and that stringent checking measures should be adopted to keep all suspicious activity in the city under check.
