KARACHI: Influential political figures from Balochistan on Thursday called on former president and President Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarian Asif Ali Zardari to join the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).
Those who joined the PPP include two close relatives of current chief minister Balochistan, Nawabzada Mir Shahjehan Zehri and Nawabzada Mir Yusuf Khan Zehri, and political leaders Mir Nawab Khan Mengal, Wadera Muhammad Nawaz and Muhammad Khan Brohi.

They said that the PPP was the only Pilitical Party which was symbol of federation of our country and truly believed in democracy.
The joining Baloch leaders pledged to work hard under PPP umbrella in their respective areas and spread the message of the party among the people of their province.
PPP Balochistan President Ali Maddad Jattak welcomed them on this occasion.

Asif Ali Zardari said that the PPP believed that as a country we have to do a lot more for Balochistan and PPP started ‘Aghaz e Haqooq e Balochistan Program’ and worked for the rights of people of Balochistan. He said, “In sha Allah! next CM of Balochistan will be a PPP Jiyala.”
