Young Usama Kaira son of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) lost his life due to a traffic accident in Lalamusa today, Friday, reported ARY News.
Condolences from the political sphere be it friends or foes started pouring in after the regrettable tragedy.
Prime Minister Imran Khan expressed deep sorrow over the death of Kaira’s son and offered his condolences to the family.
Pakistan People’s party (PPP) Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari issued a statement, saying he was “deeply saddened to hear the tragic news of the passing”.
Chief Minister Usman Khan Buzdar also issued a statement expressing his sadness over the tragic which had occured and offered his condolences.
Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Firdous Ashiq Awan condoled the bereaved family saying, “My heart weeps on the demise of young Osama, all of us share the sadness of his death.”
PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz tweeted her condolences on the social media website twitter and prayed for the departed soul.
Many other dignitaries from the government and opposition parties sent their prayers and well wishes to the Kaira family and ensured their support to the family in their time of deep grief and misery.
The incident occurred due to over speeding, claim initial reports.
The incident took place near trauma center on grand trunk road (G.T road).
Usama Kaira was on the drivers seat along with a friend who also lost his life in the accident.
Usama was a student in Government college (GC) Lahore.
Qamar Zaman Kaira came to know of the unfortunate incident during a press conference and left the premises shortly after.
PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto announced a day of mourning for the political party to pay respects to the deceased, all party activities halted for tomorrow.
