KARACHI: The Pakistan Peoples Party will celebrate the founding anniversary of the party on November 30 in Lahore.
In this regard, Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has formed a committee to organise the 49th Foundation Day programme which will be attended by workers from across the country.
The Committee members include:
Central Punjab – Qamaruz Zaman Kaira, Aitzaz Ahsan, Ch Manzoor Ahmed and Samina Khalid Ghurki.
South Punjab – Makhdoom Ahmed Mehmood, and Natasha Daultana.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa – Humayun Khan and Najamuddin Khan.
Balochistan
– Sardar Fateh Mohammad Mohammad Hasni and Ali Maddad Jattak.
Sindh – Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah and Nisar Ahmed Khuhro.
Azad Jammu & Kashmir – Chaudhry Latif Akbar
Gilgit-Baltistan – Ajmad Advocate.
The committee will make arrangements to organise the programme to celebrate the Foundation Day of the PPP in a befitting manner.
The Pakistan People’s Party was founded on 30 November 1967 by Zulfikar Ali Bhutto to challenge the military regime of the President Ayub Khan.
