Priyanka Chopra: I hate losing but Kangana deserved it!

Apparently, Priyanka is not a sore loser. The Gunday star, who is busy these days shooting in the United States for her upcoming show titled Quantico, expressed her views on Twitter.

The actress stated that she didn’t particularly like losing (who does, anyway?) but stated that she was happy if anyone outshone her, it was none other than her contemporary Kangana Ranaut. Kangana recently bagged the National Award for Best Actress for her role in the critically acclaimed film Queen. Priyanka took to Twitter and this is what she tweeted:-

She also proceeded to congratulate Director Vikas Bahl who was responsible for making Queen and also tweeted the following message:-

Kangana’s portrayal of an under-confident girl who undertakes a trip to her intended honeymoon all by herself, when her husband-to-be dumps her just days prior to

their wedding. The film showcases the story of an Indian woman trying to find happiness on her own in an entirely new setting and culture. The movie also depicted how women can attain happiness on their own, without dependence on any male.

Priyanka’s film Mary Kom also won big at the 62nd National Awards when it won in the category of Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment. Mary Kom featured Priyanka depicting the role of famous Indian boxer (also named Mary Kom) who defies all odds, including some stacked against her by her very own father, to become a champion at international level. It is good to see Bollywood’s leading ladies not fighting for once and recognizing each other’s performances for their brilliance and stellar acting.
