Shia Action Committee persists with protest plan

They demanded the government to arrest culprits of Shikarpur Imambargah blast and provide adequate security to their community.

Rejecting reports about successful negotiations with government, leader of Shia Action Committee Allama Ameen Shaheedi said that no progress has been made in the talks with government.

Earlier, Sindh information minister Sherjeel Inam Memon claimed that positive progress in the negotiations with the members of Shuhda Committee has been made adding that protest will end once the draft prepared.

Thousands of protesters initiated a long march from Shikarpur to Karachi against blast in Imambargah which killed at least 55. The protesters were gathered in front of Chief Minister (CM) House to record the protest.
