The fire which erupted on the fifth floor of nine-storey building soon engulfed three more floors and brought telephone and Internet service in the city to a halt.
Sensing the intensity of fire, all fire tenders of the city were called on the spot which after hours of struggle succeeded in extinguishing the sudden blaze.
According to DCO Lahore, the reason for the sudden eruption of fire is still not known.
