ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on Tuesday submitted the documents related to the purchase of Bani Gala estate, details of bank accounts and the money trail in the court, ARY News reported.
The party also consented over formation of a commission to investigate allegations of foreign funding.
A three-member bench of the Supreme Court hearing a petition of Muslim League-Nawaz leader Hanif Abbasi seeking disqualification of the PTI chief.
PTI spokesman Fawad Chaudhry earlier, talking to media said that the papers regarding the money trail have also been submitted in the court.
PTI lawyer Anwar Mansoor giving arguments before the bench said that as per the merit the petition was non-maintainable under Article 184.
“What you say, if we decide it as the jurisdiction of the election commission,” the Chief Justice asked the counsel. Anwar Mansoor said, the court’s order will be accepted.
Imran Khan’s counsel also agreed over a commission for investigation of the foreign funding.
The court later adjourned hearing of the case till Wednesday (tomorrow).
