KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has submitted an adjournment motion in the Sindh Assembly to probe Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) chief Mustafa Kamal accusations against Governor of Sindh Dr. Ishratul Ibad Khan.
According to details, the motion was submitted in the assembly by Khurram Sher Zaman, who demanded that a judicial commission should be formed to investigate Kamal’s accusations against the governor.
Pointing to the exchange of barbs between Mustafa Kamal and Dr. Ishratul Ibad the PTI member demanding resignation of the Governor of Sindh, asked that why Ibad had remained silent on the issue for so long.
He added that the accusations are revealing that Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan and London are involved in spreading anarchy.
It should be noted that Mustafa Kamal has demanded that the governor’s name should be placed on the Exit Control List, made to resign, arrested and his British passport should be exposed.
He said the Sindh Governor was trying to hide his wrongdoings behind top decision makers of the provincial government. He said that he threatened him and his party with bogus and unfounded claims.
Kamal also alleged that Ibad was behind the May 12, 2007 bloodshed in Karachi during which at least 40 people were killed in armed clashes between the armed supporters of political parties on the arrival of the then Chief Justice Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry.
