Aijaz Chaudhry said that the current rulers and their joint investigation team (JIT) have no standing. He said that his party expected a similar kind of decision from the government.
Earlier today, the JIT had acquitted Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) leader, Rana Sanaullah, State Minister for Water and Power, Abid Sher Ali and three others in a case pertaining to the killing of a PTI worker, Haq Nawaz.
Nawaz, 22, was shot dead during a clash between PML-N supporters, police and PTI workers during PTI’s protest against election rigging in Faisalabad on December 8, last year.
