ISLAMABAD: State Minister for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb’s presser was interrupted by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) female leader Uzma Kardar who was irked by the long presser of the state minister, ARY News reported on Thursday.
Perturbed by scorching heat, Kardar attempted to takeover the rostrum after complaining that Aurangzeb was talking for last an hour and constantly repeating the same statement in regard to the Supreme Court’s hearing session on the Panamagate case.
Aurangzeb, on her complaint, replied that it was not her problem.
Kardar complained that the PTI workers were waiting for their turn for an hour. “We are standing under the hot weather conditions for long time, you [Marriyum] have been addressing the media for over an hour,” Kardar said while attempting to take over the rostrum.
However, Aurangzeb managed to continue her talk for another half an hour following the incident.
“PTI wants uncertainty and chaos to prevail across the country,” disgruntled Aurangzeb said while urging the Supreme Court to take notice of the incident.
She opined that if PTI comes in power, similar chaotic atmosphere would be witnessed across the country. “The interruption is apparent to media and it is due responsibility of the media persons as well to take the notice of harassment,” she added.
