Qadri announces to vacate Parliament House’s lawn tomorrow

Addressing the participants of PAT sit-in, Dr Tahirul Qadri said, “We are democratic people and tomorrow we shall vacate the lawn of the Parliament House, in the following of court orders”.

He said that people criticize us and say there are only a few thousand people present at the sit-in, adding, “I ask them to release our 25000 workers and to remove blockades, I will show them a gathering of millions within three days”.

The PAT chief slammed the Opposition Leader Khursheed Shah and declared him to be equally responsible as the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and the Punjab CM. He said Khursheed Shah has been using foul language against the PAT workers for past many days and asked him to stay quiet or things will go far away.

Qadri said that Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, under his chairmanship of the Pakistan Awami Ittehad, struggled for democracy. He asked Shah, “If our party is undemocratic, then what would you say about yours”.

While addressing to the Opposition Leader, The PAT chief said your party is even accused of splitting the country and asked the PPP patron in-chief, Asif Ali Zardari to control his party member.

He said that the PPP leaders Aitzaz Ahsan, Lateef Khosa and Qamar Zaman Kaira also expressed difference of opinion with PAT, but they never used foul language.

Lashing out at the PkMAP chief Mehmood Khan Achakzai, Dr Tahirul Qadri said when the Quaid-e-Azam Residency was bombed in Ziarat, his party’s secretary general had said, “Today we have erased a symbol of imperialism” and inquired him, “Do you consider Muhammad Ali Jinnah a symbol of imperialism”.

Responding to the rumors of ending the sit-in, the PAT chief mentioned that the sit-in will not be ended and we will stay here until the acceptance of our demands. He added that the houses of the revolutionaries will be built here.

Dr Tahirul Qadri requested Sheikh Rasheed to appeal the people of the twin cities to take care of the needs of the participants at the sit-in, especially the children and to provide them necessary items.
