The ATC gave the verdict in a case against PAT chief on charges of arson and vandalism during their protests in Lahore last year. The court also issued non-bailable warrants for the nominated persons in the case.
The PAT leaders Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Raheeq Abbasi are also among those declared proclaimed offenders by the ATC.
Abbasi, in the meanwhile, announced that Dr. Qadri will arrive in Pakistan in March to resume political activities and take reigns of the party.
In December 2014, the case was registered against the PAT chief and six others of the PAT under sections 7 of the Anti-Terrorism Act and 324, 365-B and 395 of the Pakistan Penal Code by Lillah police on charges of arson, dacoity and attacking and injuring and kidnapping policemen. The workers had gathered at the interchange and staged a demonstration on Dr Qadri’s call.
