QUETTA: Balochistan police have released photo of the alleged suicide bomber who blew himself up on Gulistan Road of the provincial capital on June 23 which claimed at least 15 lives.
In a bid to acquire information, the police said the photo has been made public so people could recognise him and expedite the investigation process.
The law enforcement agencies in the province have also promised to reward any person who gives relevant information about the alleged bomber besides keeping the identifier’s name secret
Any information pertaining to the alleged bomber could lead to arrest the facilitators behind the terror incident, sources said.
On June 23, at least fifteen people, including six policemen, were killed and over a dozen injured in the suicide car bombing near the Inspector General (IG) police office at Gulistan road in Quetta.
Earlier, speaking to media at the blast site, DIG Police Quetta Abdul Razzaq Cheema had claimed that the explosive material was planted in a vehicle, which went off when police personnel intercepted it near the IG Police Office.
