Quetta-Zahidan rail service restored after seven years

The rail service between Quetta and Zahidan was eventually restored today after a span of seven years.

CM Abdul Malik Baloch and Chairperson Railways Perveeen Agha inaugurated the restoration of the rail service, following which the goods train moved for Zahidan, Iran.

The train will initially be run on weekly basis.

On the occasion, CM Malik thanked Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique for the resumption of rail service and said that the running of goods train will benefit the business fraternity.

He also hoped that the federation will also execute the recommendations pertaining to the restoration Sibi-Harnai railway track.
