But the celebrations ended early because on Monday, the 32-year-old superstar underwent surgery to treat his adenoid tonsil in a Mumbai hospital.
He has reportedly taken a short break to recuperate. When contacted, his father, Rishi Kapoor said, “His adenoid surgery is routine. It’s nothing major; it’s a normal thing, like sinus. Ranbir had five days off, so he got the operation done. He will be discharged today.”
Apparently, the adenoid had been troubling Ranbir for a while because of which he had to sometimes sleep with his mouth open, to facilitate breathing.
