The government has devised a strategy to cope with the long march of PTI and PAT. Three security layers have been formed around the red zone to stop PTI marches into the prohibited zone.
Additional contingent of police have also been called to the capital to add to the security strength. In a first security layer, police is deployed followed by Rangers and FC personnel and the last defence is Pakistan Army soldiers.
The government has deployed experienced snipers at rooftop of buildings in the red zone to cope with any untoward incident.
In addition, the major thoroughfares are blocked with containers and barbed wire fences to prevent protesters from proceeding towards sensitive locations.
