Rehman Malik denies ‘differences’ with Zardari

Speaking in press conference in PPP media cell Sindh, the former interior minister dusted off all rumours of his alleged differences with Asif Ali Zardari and advised mediamen to keep journalistic ethics in view while reporting about Bilawal House or PPP.

He maintained that PPP has always been a victim of disinformation adding that if someone wants to create differences between him and Zardari, he will be disappointed.

It must be noted that a news item published in a local newspaper suggested that security guards deployed around the Bilawal House have been instructed not to allow Malik and 10 other men to enter the premises of the house.

The newspaper claimed that the instructions are given by PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari.

Later, PPP media cell also released a statement denying the news by stating that Senator Rehman Malik is the President of PPP Overseas Wing and former Interior Minister who had remained close confidant of Party leadership since long. No such list exists which bans anybody’s entry into Bilawal House and its doors are always open for all Jiyalas and masses.

A spokesman of Bilawal House termed the news item as utterly baseless and figment of someone’s imagination, which spilled into the pages of a newspaper for unexpressed ulterior motives.
