ISLAMABAD: Owner of Bahria Town, Malik Riaz has announced a grant of Rs 50 crore for the internally displaced persons (IDPs) of North Waziristan, while he also offered to provide accommodation, food and other facilities for the operation affectees – ARY News reports.
In his exclusive talk with ARY News, Malik Riaz announced to donate Rs 50 crore for North Waziristan IDPS. He also vowed to bear the responsibility of as many IDP camps as permitted by the Government of Pakistan and the Pakistan Army.
Returning to a question, Riaz said that Bahria Town has formed a comprehensive plan for providing accommodation, food, education and health facilities to the refugees of North Waziristan.
He said that if we are requested, we shall provide further assistance to the IDPs.
Malik Riaz also appealed well-to-do people, to come forth and help out the operation-affectees in this difficult hour of time.
