Rifts within PPP: Zardari chairs important meeting
Sources informed that PPP was concerned over attempts by some party dissidents to form a forward bloc. It is learnt that at least 14 to 15 members, belonging to the PPP, of the Sindh Assembly, were unhappy with the Sindh leadership.
The PPP currently holds majority of seats in Sindh, while origination of any forward bloc within the party could cost PPP its government in the province.
Fahim, before leaving for the meeting, said he would talk with the party’s co-chairman about good governance and involvement of irrelevant people in the departments.
