According to details, the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, headed by Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman, held its meeting on Saturday evening to sight Rabi-ul-Awwal moon.
Talking to media after the meeting, Rehman said that there have been enough testimonies received of sighting of moon and tomorrow will be the first of Rabi-ul-Awwal.
Subsequently, the 12th of Rabi-ul-Awwal will be observed countrywide on Thursday, December 24.
Muslims across the world observe 12th of Rabi-ul-Awwal with great religious fervor as Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was born on this day.
