The suspects were produced before the ATC under stringent security today. The investigating officer (IO) told the court that a vehicle and arms used in the attack have been recovered from the suspects.
He said that the weapons have been sent for a forensic test, while the suspects will be nominated in the case after joint investigation.
The court, while handing over the suspects to police on remand till June 14, directed the officials not to torture them.
Earlier on May 13, armed assailants had killed 47 members of Ismaili community in a cold-blooded gun attack on a bus in Karachi’s Safoora Goth.
