KARACHI: MNA Salman Mujahid Baloch on Saturday rejoined the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P), just two months after he dissociated with the party to join the ranks of Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP), ARY News reported.
The development took place amid deadlock between two groups of the party over awarding Senate’s tickets to its members. Baloch was the first MQM-P leader to spill the beans on existence of groups in the party and he was expelled from the party last year over violation of party discipline.
Salman Mujahid took the decision of rejoining following a meeting with the party convener Farooq Sattar.
Addressing a press conference outside Farooq Sattar’s house in PIB, he said earlier he left the party because of few people who were conspiring against the party chief.

He asked party activists to strengthen Farooq Sattar with their presence. He called MQM-P senior leader Amir Khan as a conspirator saying that because of him and other four to five people in the party he had joined the PSP.
Salman Mujahid Baloch said four days ago in a program on ARY News channel he had advised Farooq Sattar not to withdraw his decision, come what may, because it was not a matter of Senate candidates but powers in the party and the Rabita Committee had worked out a plan in this regard.
He also asked PSP President Anis Qaimkhani to step forward and join Farooq Sattar.
