Saqib Nisar responds to PM Shehbaz Sharif’s allegations

LAHORE: The former chief justice of Pakistan (CJP) Saqib Nisar responded to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s allegations, ARY News reported.

As per details, the former chief justice of Pakistan Saqib Nisar said that he never halted or banned the projects start by the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) government.

The allegations that the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif made are not true but it just for their political gains, he added.

The former CJP said that PM Shehbaz Sharif should not drag judiciary in politics.

Earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that the former chief justice Saqib Nisar had banned the projects started by the PML-N government.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif lambasted the former chief justice supreme court for banning and halting the projects started by the then PML-N government. He said that in out of 56 companies’ corruption cases, they did not prove corruption in even one company.

The Former premier and PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif also criticized the former chief justice of supreme court Saqib Nisar and other retired judges about the reasons for disqualifying him. He asked the nation to get answers from the responsible persons who disqualified him from national politics.
