LAHORE: Governor Punjab, Chaudhry Sarwar on Monday has turned down rumors of any differences within the coalition partners, ruling the province. ARY NEWS reported.
Clarifying his position with regard to a video surfaced two days ago, Mr. Sarwar while talking to the newsmen questioned , how it can be possible that the governor and the chief minister of a province would have not been on the “same page”, adding, “he enjoys close working relations with chief minister, Usman Buzdar “, essential for serving the masses, who voted them in the 2018 General Elections, he continued.
About the construction of five million home in the country, the governor said the promise to provide low cost houses to the countrymen to be fulfilled with their [masses] cooperation.
Terming the politics ” a way to serve humanity”, Chaudhry Sarwar said, the money and the designations are worthless, if one fails to serve the humanity.
Responding to the critics, he said that, the PTI led government working for bringing the change into country, but it will take some time and cannot be brought with “twinkling of an eye.”
Governor Sawar, yesterday had also ruled out any differences with Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid in the province, hence anyone shouldn’t make a mountain out of a molehill.
“We will listen to any reservation that our allies want to convey.”, said the Punjab governor.
He asserted that he had old family terms with Chaudhry Pervez Elahi, who is now Speaker of the Punjab Assembly.
A video was going rounds on the social media showing leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) Chaudhry Pervez Elhai alleging that Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar is not letting Chief Minister Usman Buzdar exercise his constitutional powers freely.
PML-Q leaders Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and Federal Minister Tariq Bashir Cheema were seen in the video to be moaning about Chaudhry Sarwar to PTI’s former secretary general Jahangir Tareen at the former’s residence. They were heard saying in the video that Sarwar was not letting Buzdar do his job.
