This should be noted that scores of marriage lawns have recently been brought down in Karachi under anti-encroachment drive.
The SC also sought report of illegal expansion of Hameed Latif Hospital. Upon that the hospital administration told that the hospital was surrounded by marriage lawns which was creating parking and other issues for the hospital.
“On every nook and corner such plazas are being built which do not have parking spaces in them,” the court wondered on violation of the law.
According to land law, there must be one floor specified for parking in a plaza.
