ISLAMABAD: The spokesperson of the Supreme Court (SC) denied the news of the conflict between the top court’s judges, ARY News reported on Friday.
In a statement, the SC spokesperson denied the reports of a conflict between judges in Judges Colony Park.
The spokesperson added that the false news was widely circulated on various social media platforms, leading to confusion and concerns among the public.
The statement read that people should refrain from spreading unverified information and refuted the false news as such an incident has not happened in between judges.
The spokesman further said that fake reporting about Supreme Court judges is a serious violation of law and fake news is a failed attempt to dent the dignity of respectable judges.
It is pertinent to mention here that the issue of a quarrel between the judge’s bench came to light after a Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Interior and Legal Affairs Attaullah Tarar tweeted, in which he claimed that there were confirmed reports of a quarrel between eight-member judges bench after the ‘illegal order’ last night.
In his tweet, he wrote that ” There are also confirmed reports of an abusive exchange last night after the 8-member bench’s illegal order. Grouping to this extent will cause lawlessness in the country. No wonder the CJ has not been able to call a full court meeting till now, سنا ہے ہاتھاپائی تک بات جا پہنچی”
