SC takes suo motu notice of Kot Radha Kishan incident

The apex court eventually after 18 days, took suo motu notice of the brutal killing of a Christian couple, which was thrown into a brick-kiln and burnt alive, before being severely beaten by a charged mob in Kot Radha Kishan, district Kasur.

The Supreme Court sought a report on the tragic incident from the Punjab government, within three days.

On the other hand, an anti-terrorism court (ATC) of Lahore handed 16 accused of the incident to police on two days remand.

Earlier, the hearing of the case was delayed due to a judicial holiday on account of the elections of the Punjab Bar Council.

At which the Lahore Police presented the accused before the ATC on Saturday.
