Stampede erupted when the announcement was made that all ration sacks have been distributed.
Some of the awaiting people tried to rush towards the distribution area while a few women scaled a fence, hence creating ruckus.
Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah took notice of the incident and telephoned Inspector General Sindh to control the situation.
He asked the IGP to immediately send additional police force to control the mob at Expo Centre.
The CM said negligence won’t be tolerated in the case.
