The event is observed on the night of 27th of Rajab when the Holy Prophet (PBUH) crossed the seven skies to meet Allah (S.W.T).
Five times prayers a day was made mandatory on the Muslims on this night as well.

ARY Digital aired special transmissions by the name of “Shaan-e-Mairaj” tonight. Anchor Waseem Badami hosted the transmission in which renowned Naat Khwan and other religious figures took part.
Houses, buildings and streets were decorated with buntings, candles and colorful lights to celebrate the occasion.
