The political shows in Islamabad have rung alarming bells in the corridors of power and the government has increased contacts with the military leaders of the country.
Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali called on Army Chief General Raheel Sharif and discussed with him the changing political scene in the country.
According to sources, the meeting between the government delegation and Gen. Raheel Sharif continued for over an hour.
It was the second meeting between the two PML-N leaders and the army chief within a week.
