SHC hears MQM missing persons case

Lawyer representing Sindh Rangers said that the para-military force does not have any detention centre where the apprehended can be kept for weeks. He added that Rangers mostly surrounds the area and the suspects are arrested by other agencies.

MQM lawyer, in his arguments, asked Rangersā€™ counsel that who carries out the arrests in the metropolis.

The bench, in its remarks, asked that why the court is being forced to initiateĀ  the contempt of court proceedings. The court ordered Sindh Home Ministry to appoint a focal person for the case.

The hearing of the case was adjourned till 10th October.
