KARACHI: The Sindh High Court’s (SHC) constitutional bench on Saturday heard petitions for recovery of persons missing from different areas of Karachi.
Police informed the court in its report that the two missing persons Rana Afaq and Rehan Ahmed have been recovered.
These citizens reported missing in jurisdictions of Shah Latif Town and Khokharapar police stations have returned to homes.
However, Irfanul Haq and Muzammil, missing from Ittehad Town and Eidgah police stations, have still been untraced. Another person Abdul Nasir, who was missing from SITE Super Highway, also remains untraced, police informed the court in its report.
“The letters have been written to various government departments and recommended constitution of JIT,” investigation officers said.
The court granted more time to police and adjourned hearing of the case until the second week of September.
